Biscotti are one of my favourite type of cookies. I love to eat them for breakfast with a chai tea latte. I found the brand Whimsy & Spice at Dean and Deluca. The company was started by a husband and wife team from Brooklyn, NY. I love all of their baked goods but the Cinnamon Chocolate Malt Biscotti are for sure my favourite. What I love about their baking is the fact that they incorporate spices into all of the cookies, brownies, and marshmallows. If you live in NY visit Whimsy & Spice and try some of the amazing treats!
Menu Project
Wednesday, May 25th, 2011I figured I would post my menu project plan so far and get some feedback. I am taking a bit of a chance by making it completely vegetarian but my chefs said that they wanted the menu to be a reflection of yourself. I often wish that more restaurants did vegetarian tasting menus and so I figured I would put together my dream meal and since Fall is my favourite season I wanted it to be based around that time of year. I love the warm flavours and beautiful colours of Autumn. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I have wanted to try making macarons for years but was always a little intimidated by them. They turned out to be easier than I thought and are something that I plan on making a lot more of!
