My favorite family meal that my Mom makes is her stew with dumplings. The recipe is fairly simple but sometimes the simplest things are the best. Very few ingredients are needed to make this stew and it requires only a little work. This is the perfect meal to make on a cold night, since it is stick to your ribs kind of food.
